Build Antique Cars

I, Kirk Justin Arthur Price was born in Dallas,Texas and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. I’m a graduate from South Grand Prairie High School. Go Warriors!! I pursued my career in music once I graduated and furthered my education at Grambling State University. After a short lived career in music, I ventured into helping my Uncle with his farm of breaking horses and cleaning up on his land before I went off to the military(Active Army) where I learned more discipline, hardwork, grit and dedication. After serving nearly 3 years, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I ventured into the world of entrepreneurship in the “helping business”. Fast forward to 2001, I joined Lear Corporation where I learned how to build seats for the top SUV’s in America in Arlington,Texas. I wanted to tie in what I love and learned over the 16 1/2 years I’d been with the company. I’ve always had a knitch for classic rust buckets and turning them into prestige condition. Even though the capital wasn’t there, my vision stayed true. While still working full time, I ventured into the non-profit sector and started my foundation, Old School 2 Nu Skool. After my departure from Lear Corporation, I wanted more knowledge of the car business and how I could give back. With the help of my wife, we moved to North Carolina in order to attend Nascar Technical Institute. To afford schooling, I spent most of my 401k to get thru school and the rest to live on during the 3 years we were there. Before graduation in 2018, I had 2 job offers on the table. NHRA(National Hot Rod Association) and Nascar. After discussing the offers over with my wife, I decided to go with Nascar. Since joining the Nascar Family, I’ve learned quite a bit on the technical side of the car business in racing. I’m a Technical Inspector/Official during and after the races. My knowledge of racing has given alot of insight on how to run my non-profit. This journey has just begun to open up major opportunities for me to pursue my career in the ” helping business. “
